Cabinetmaker and Team Leader — Whitby

An established luxury bespoke furniture maker in Whitby, North Yorkshire (YO22) is looking for a Cabinetmaker and Team Leader to combine hands-on craftsmanship with workshop leadership. The business makes bespoke furniture for residential, marine and yacht, and hospitality clients to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

• Making bespoke furniture and cabinetry to the highest standard from technical drawings
• Leading and supporting team members on the workshop floor
• Planning work to meet project deadlines for residential, marine and hospitality clients
• Operating hand tools and woodworking machinery safely

What we're looking for

• Skilled cabinetmaker with proven bespoke or luxury furniture experience
• Experience leading or mentoring others in a workshop
• Technical drawing proficiency
• Based within reach of Whitby, Scarborough, Guisborough or the North York Moors

What's on offer

• £35,000 to £40,000 per year depending on experience
• Pension, private medical, 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays and a monthly paid team lunch
• Permanent, full-time role with a respected luxury furniture maker
