Fabric Laying Operator — Bilston

A multi-national furniture and upholstery manufacturer in Bilston, West Midlands (WV14) is looking for a Fabric Laying Operator to join its cutting room, laying and preparing fabric and leather for cutting on a busy upholstery production line.

What you'll be doing

• Laying fabric and leather to specification ready for cutting
• Checking rolls for faults, pattern repeats and pile direction
• Supporting the cutting team and keeping the cutting room organised and stocked
• Hours 6.00am to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday

What we're looking for

• Experience in a cutting room, fabric laying or upholstery manufacturing environment preferred
• Good attention to detail and a practical, organised approach
• Reliable and comfortable with early starts
• Based within reach of Bilston, Wolverhampton, Walsall or Dudley

What's on offer

• £25,000 to £28,000 per year depending on experience (to be confirmed at interview)
• Permanent, full-time role with free parking and a supportive team
