Furniture Designer — Esher

A bespoke upholstered furniture maker in Esher, Surrey (KT10) is looking for a Furniture Designer to design and develop bespoke sofas, chairs and upholstered pieces for interior designers and private clients, working closely with the workshop from concept through to finished product.

What you'll be doing

• Designing bespoke upholstered furniture from client and designer briefs
• Producing drawings, specifications and cutting information for the workshop
• Working with the upholstery and frame-making team to develop and refine pieces
• Managing samples, finishes and fabric specifications

What we're looking for

• Furniture or product design experience, ideally in upholstered or bespoke furniture
• Confident with CAD and technical drawing
• Understanding of upholstery construction, frames and fabrics
• Based within reach of Esher, Kingston, Weybridge, Epsom or Guildford

What's on offer

• £35,000 to £45,000 per year depending on experience (to be confirmed at interview)
• Permanent, full-time role with a growing bespoke furniture business
