Furniture Technician — Grimsby and North East Lincolnshire

We are recruiting on behalf of a long-established, nationwide furniture restoration business operating across both the domestic and commercial furniture restoration sectors. This is a field-based Furniture Technician role covering Grimsby and North East Lincolnshire, where you will be the face of the business in customers' homes, carrying out high-quality upholstery repairs, furniture restoration and clear inspection and liability reporting, while delivering excellent customer service.

On the south bank of the Humber, this round links the fishing heritage of Grimsby with Cleethorpes on the coast, the port at Immingham and the steel town of Scunthorpe, reaching south to Louth and west to Barton-upon-Humber by the Humber Bridge. The A180 and M180, A18, A15, A46 and A16 connect the area. Homes include terraces near the docks, seaside bungalows, Wolds villages and newer estates around Humberston and Scartho. Grouping work by DN postcode keeps days efficient. A local upholsterer or furniture repairer would find the role sits naturally within the area.

Area covered: Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Immingham, Scunthorpe, Louth and Barton-upon-Humber. Work is organised by postcode area, one area per day, so you are working close to home around Grimsby (DN31 1JB) rather than driving across the country.

This role is ideal for an experienced Upholsterer, Furniture Repair Technician, Furniture Technician, Service Technician, Trimmer, Furniture Restorer, Sofa Repair Technician or Mobile Furniture Technician, or anyone who has carried out in-home repairs and inspections on sofas, chairs, beds, mattresses or cabinetry. It is a genuine move into a stable, well-supported position with proper training, structure and progression.
