Senior Warehouse Operative — Warehouse Supervisor, Twickenham

A well-established furniture and interiors company based in Twickenham is looking for a Senior Warehouse Operative to lead the day-to-day running of its Installation and Collections team. This is a hands-on supervisory role suited to candidates with warehouse, logistics, installation or removals experience looking to step up into a senior or team-leader position.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the installation and collection teams
• Ensure products are stored, loaded and unloaded correctly, with a focus on quality control and damage prevention
• Supervise and support team members, ensuring they are trained and competent
• Check vans are correctly stocked with tools, equipment and materials before jobs
• Maintain accurate inventory of tools and equipment, cross-checking stock against manifests
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety procedures, escalating concerns promptly
• Identify and recommend improvements to processes and service standards
• Manage waste materials appropriately and keep vans clean, tidy and well maintained
• Lead by example, maintaining high standards of presentation and professionalism

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, installation or removals environment, ideally with some team leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident communicator, comfortable directing and supporting a team
• Good working knowledge of health & safety practices in a warehouse/logistics setting
• Reliable, proactive and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Full UK driving licence preferred
