An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Operations Manager or Installation Manager to join a family-run manufacturer of bespoke curtains and soft furnishings, supplying luxury hotels and high-end multi-residential properties internationally. Based in London (NW9), this is a hands-on leadership role covering site surveys, measuring and the full installation process across hotel and residential projects.
What you'll be doing
- Acting as technical authority on site measuring and installation for bespoke curtains, blinds and soft furnishings projects
- Leading and managing fitting and installation teams on site across hotel and residential contracts
- Carrying out and overseeing site surveys and measuring to ensure accurate specification before manufacture
- Liaising closely with the sewing room and production team to guide construction requirements based on site conditions
- Managing project delivery on site from initial survey through to completed installation
- Acting as the main point of contact for site-based issues, quality and installation standards
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in curtains, soft furnishings, blinds or a closely related soft interiors or installation trade
- Strong technical measuring and site survey skills, ideally within hospitality or high-end residential projects
- Experience managing or leading fitting and installation teams
- Confident liaising between site teams and production or sewing room staff
- Comfortable working across multiple live sites and managing installation schedules
- Full UK driving licence
The package
- £55,000 per annum
- Permanent, full-time position based in London NW9 with travel to sites across London and the South East
