Upholsterer — Hazel Grove, Stockport

A contract furniture and fixed seating manufacturer based in Hazel Grove, Stockport (SK7) is looking for an experienced Upholsterer to join its factory team on a permanent, full-time basis. The work is commercial: fixed seating, booths and banquettes for hospitality and leisure projects, made in the factory and installed on site.

This suits an upholsterer who can cut and sew, is confident with deep buttoning and fixed seating construction, and holds a full driving licence for occasional site work.

What you'll be doing

• Upholstering fixed seating, booths, banquettes and contract furniture in the factory
• Cutting and machine sewing covers, including deep buttoning and fluting
• Occasional site installation and finishing work alongside the fitting team
• Working to drawings and specifications to a consistent commercial standard

What we're looking for

• Experienced Upholsterer with commercial or contract upholstery background
• Cut and sew skills, deep buttoning and fixed seating experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Reliable, practical and comfortable working to production deadlines
• Based within reach of Hazel Grove, Stockport

What's on offer

• Up to £30,000 per year depending on experience
